SKATESTOPPERS® Insert Skate Deterrent.

A growing concern among designers has been the inability to integrate parts in to the design of the wall. The "Insert" Line addresses this concern by offering sleek looking designs that integrate our skate deterrent into the expansion joints/grout lines of pre-cast concrete and stone walls. The parts below are production ready and serve as a guide for other options that are available (custom parts are engineered in most cases for less than $1000).

Cast bronze "Mallory" skate deterrent fits a common granite and stone wall profile (90 degree block with 3.175mm radius edge). Optional locking pins mechanically fix the part to the substrate. Blade thickness below surface is 6.35mm, then expands to blunted 12.7mm for safety. Part requires 50.8mm vertical and 254mm horizontal clearance.
